All About Baking

This week’s theme at Applewood was all about BAKING — and what a sweet week it was!

Our participants had an amazing time getting hands-on in the kitchen and creating delicious treats to share with friends and staff throughout the week. From melting chocolate to decorating snacks, everyone had the chance to get creative, build kitchen skills, and most importantly… have fun! ✨

On Wednesday, participants melted chocolate and carefully poured it into fun moulds to create homemade chocolate treats for everyone to enjoy. There were lots of smiles (and a few happy taste tests along the way!).

Thursday was cookie day, where participants worked together to make classic chocolate chip cookies. The room smelled incredible while they baked, and everyone was excited to enjoy the fresh, warm cookies afterwards.

To finish off our baking week, participants made chocolate-covered popcorn on Friday. The sweet and crunchy snack was a huge hit!

We love themed weeks because they give participants opportunities to try new things, work together, express creativity, and share special moments. Baking Week brought lots of laughter, teamwork, and tasty memories that we’ll definitely be talking about for a while!
