Rooted in Community: Our New Tree Display

If you have visited and stopped by our academic room recently, you might have noticed a vibrant new addition to our wall! We are thrilled to share our latest art display: a beautifully crafted tree that brings a burst of color, creativity, and warmth into our space.

This project was a true team effort. Our clients helped bring the tree to life by personally designing and decorating the leaves, making each one unique and meaningful. The tree is also decorated with our DIY dragonflies, which were an art project completed a couple of weeks prior. The design of the tree itself mirrors the familiar shape of the tree found in our butterfly garden, bringing a piece of the outdoors inside for everyone to enjoy year-round.

At the center of the trunk is a faux-engraved heart reading "Applewood Centre 2008," honouring our founding year and celebrating how far we’ve grown together over the years.
